Mum of six, Kate Ball initially started Mini First Aid in 2014 from her kitchen table in Leeds, offering high quality baby & child first aid classes to parents and carers. Demand grew and Kate saw the potential for growth, so she started franchising the business in 2015. In 2021, BBC Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies, also saw the huge potential in Mini First Aid and she came on board as an investor and adviser. Mini First Aid is now a multi-award-winning organisation and has almost 70 franchises nationwide.
I am Mini First Aid trainer for Bath, Swindon and North Wiltshire and Healthcare Assistant at secondary school in Bath. I have 4 children, two adults and two in primary school age – all First Aid trained! I am passionate about working with children, with experience of teaching at the school, running independent kids club and being school link worker, I know the importance of first aid knowledge at any age and in every environment. I am enthusiastic to share it with all families at my adults, kids and early years classes. In addition, I can provide my Mini First Aid courses in Polish.
Mini First Aid is expanding as our demand for classes continues to grow.
Mini First Aid are looking for dynamic confident individuals who would like to work with all ages and feel passionately about teaching first aid.
